When I got a chance to go to beautiful Capetown for some days earlier this week, of course I jumped at the opportunity!
Even better, Björn and I got to go there together and spent a fantastic, sunny Sunday exploring the water front and catching up over brunch and dinner with our friend.
I stayed at a charming little guesthouse with a small balcony, where we enjoyed some sparkling wine while watching the sun set behind Lion’s Head. The neighbourhood in Gardens around Dunkley Square and Wembley Square is full of beautiful old houses with luscious green gardens, small shops and cafes, street art and amazing views of the towering Table Mountain.
Now that there is a direct flight between Gaborone and Capetown, I hope it will not be another two years before our next visit!
